Effective date: 26 August 2026
This policy describes the cookies and similar browser storage used by Performance Labs SL on the MyAIEmployee websites and application. It reflects the deployed product configuration on the effective date rather than listing tools that we might use in the future.

1. Necessary and preference cookies
These cookies support a requested feature, authentication, security, language, interface preferences, or the recording of your cookie choice. They are not used for advertising.

| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| consent | Performance Labs SL | Records whether optional cookies were accepted or declined. | 180 days |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Performance Labs SL | Remembers the selected language. | Browser session unless renewed by another language choice |
| better-auth.session_token or its secure-prefixed equivalent | Performance Labs SL / Better Auth component | Authenticates an application session and protects account access. | Up to 30 days |
| Short-lived Better Auth security cookies | Performance Labs SL / Better Auth component | Protect social sign-in and two-factor authentication when those flows are used. | Only for the relevant flow; generally minutes, or up to 30 days when the user explicitly trusts a device |

| sidebar-collapsed | Performance Labs SL | Remembers the application navigation preference. | 1 year |
The theme preference may also be stored in browser local storage.
2. Optional attribution and advertising cookies
The following cookies are only activated after you accept optional cookies. Declining optional cookies does not prevent use of the website or application.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| miempleadoia_attribution | Performance Labs SL | Stores first-party campaign and referral information so a signup or subscription can be attributed to its source. | 90 days |
| _fbp | Meta | Measures visits and advertising performance when Meta Pixel is enabled. | Up to 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta | Stores a Meta click identifier when one is present and Meta Pixel is enabled. | Up to 90 days |
Server-side operational or aggregate measurement that does not read or write optional browser identifiers is not an optional cookie. We will update this inventory before enabling another browser cookie or similar tracking technology.
3. Provider-hosted pages
Checkout and billing-portal pages may be hosted by Stripe. Stripe may use cookies on its own domain to provide payment, fraud-prevention, security, and requested billing functions. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's applicable notice and are not cookies set by our domain.
4. Managing your choice
The banner provides equally available options to accept or decline optional cookies. Necessary cookies remain active because they provide the site, application, security, or feature you requested.
You can reopen the banner at any time through Cookie settings in the website footer. Choosing decline removes the first-party attribution cookie and the Meta browser identifiers accessible to us. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent authentication, language selection, checkout, or application preferences from working.
5. Changes
We will update the effective date and inventory when cookies, providers, purposes, or retention periods materially change.
